How to Use FocusMelt

1. Start Recording

Click Start Recording and simply talk through everything you need to do. Feel free to open email, Slack, calendars—whatever helps jog your memory.

2. Stop Recording

When you're done, hit Stop Recording. FocusMelt instantly transcribes your speech and splits it into individual tasks with rough time estimates.

3. Review & Edit

Drag tasks to reorder, rename them, or adjust any time estimate. Click Add Task for anything you forgot.

4. Start Timer

Press Start Timer to enter single-task mode. The screen hides everything except the current task, a countdown clock, and a "You'll be done by ___" projection.

5. Work the List

While the timer runs you can Complete, Skip, or Pause a task. Pausing lets you step away without losing your place.

6. Take Quick Notes

Need to capture a stray idea? Click Show Notepad. Notes are saved locally and persist between sessions.

7. Finish & Reflect

After the last task, view the session summary: completed vs. skipped items plus planned vs. actual time.

8. View History Anytime

Use View History to revisit past sessions and see tangible proof of your progress.
